My first picture thread: trip to New England!
Thanks to all with their suggestion a couple of weeks back. Weather and time prevented boat trips and other things, but we found plenty to do.

A special DU'er went out of their way to help out. That person knows who they are. :hi:

bi_baby posted Boston pics not too long ago, so I won't duplicate.

1. Hi Jimbo S - nice photos. Hope you enjoyed your stay up here :)
By-the-way, speaking of photos, I just visited your site, and none of the photos displayed.

2. Used to work in the building on the next block to the right in pic 1
Could look out the window and see the finish line. Glad I'm not there anymore, especially on race day because it was a madhouse trying to get to the subway.

5. I'm surprised they would make you work downtown
on Patriot's Day.

I would just like to add that the people of Boston were fantastic. They made us feel welcomed and the civic pride shows. None unlike any other city I've raced in.

7. We loved Portland!
Very impressed for a city of its size. Very hip downtown. A lot of neat little shops and restaraunts. Tought of it as a mini-Seattle.

We dined here.

And shopped here.
