Former Vice President Al Gore's global warming campaign is deceptive, as there is absolutely no proof for global warming, Dr. McMurtry contends. He says Gore, who recently won an Oscar for his documentary on global warming, "would not know science if it walked up and hit him with a two-by-four," and that the former presidential candidate "lies" and "misrepresents the truth in his movie."

Evidence for global warming simply does not exist, McMurtry asserts. In fact, he says evidence shows the earth is getting cooler and periodic climate changes "are simply caused by natural consequence, the variations of weather over time."

For instance, the Creation Worldview Ministries spokesman points out, the Vikings were able to colonize Greenland's west coast long ago. However, he says they had to abandon their settlements because it eventually got too cold.

Those with political agendas have raised unfounded concerns about climate change for decades, McMurtry says. "If you'll take a look at it, from 1950 to 1975, they were talking about we were going into the next ice age," he notes. "Then about 1975 to 1980, it turns around and the exact same people are talking about we're going into global warming."
