Oh, crap! Toddler gets tackled on sideline of football game!
Edited on Tue Apr-24-07 10:45 AM by LizW
Just saw this on CNN. I don't know where it was because the sound was off, but the player was falling across the sideline and took out the baby. It was awful! Has anyone heard anything about how he is?

There was blood pouring down his face and he was crying.

Oh, they just showed it again and he's okay, but has a big, deep cut on his forehead -- 30 stitches. Also, he's a little older than I first thought -- maybe four or five.

Good grief!

:scared:

5. he shouldn't have been there in the first place...
the sidelines of a football game aren't for anyone who isn't prepared for the unexpected.

I am glad he is okay but whoever had him down there needs a talkin too..

7. I'm glad the kid is okay,
but why would you bring a small child onto the sidelines of a football game? Those guys can be HUGE, and they can fly any which way. Doesn't seem like a good place to bring a preschooler.

8. His father was a long way away from him. He should be the one
held responsible.
