I am going to a meth-addict's baby shower!

Woo Hoo!

The meth addict is the father...and his girlfriend is someone that most people in my family won't let in their home...(boy she must be a real treat!)

He is supposedly not selling drugs anymore...cuz he is working the register at the local gas station ...but I was informed by the younger crowd that the drug dealers love to sell drugs out of those establishment because no one questions all the in and out traffic...

So...I bought a gift for the unfortunate child who is going to be born into this situation...and I am really hoping that it isn't returned to buy drugs or booze.

I am also taking my mother ...and she is at that age where "tact" is not a virtue...so boy this should be an amazing weekend!

truly a sad situation...

the meth dude is my cousin...his mother is one of those people who was not meant to parent because she doesn't know how...

she has managed to screw two of her three kids up...and she has a third on his way to middle school...and I don't know if he will do any better...

personally I think the pregnancy should never have happened...but now that the baby is coming I think that the only way this kid would have a fighting chance would be for the parents to give it up...

One of my more reliable older cousins is so upset by this situation that she can't even speak about it...it won't suprise me if a lot of people don't come to the shower..

so this is her fourth child?

and grandma is only 39...and she plans on helping the young couple out...
but she is no role model and according to what I have heard...the other grandmother isn't playing with a full deck..

Had to have my baby and everyone else so that a girl addicted to crack
could come in and have hers...
they wanted the delivery rooms clear so all hands would be available...
no worries with me but it caused a stir!!
