CNN: Stands For
Edited on Thu Apr-26-07 01:47 PM by Liberalynn
Colluding National Network: Their reporters who went to Iraq are saying the U.S. shouldn't pull out because the generals predict disaster if we do etc.

Well first of all it is an unmitigated disaster all ready, at least to any one living in the reality based world.

Secondly what else are the generals going to say, Commander Cuckoo Bannanas fires anyone who disagrees with his big ole decider self.

Plus on another matter, that CNN Kristin chick in the morning and her partner, that grey haired dude, both said lighten up and let McCain tell his little nuke jokes.

I didn't used to think they were this blantantly thug, but lately it seems like they are trying to become Faux news 2

1. I saw that, but I gotta tell ya...
I have a tough time disagreeing with Michael Ware (the bent-nosed dude who said the U.S. shouldn't pull out). First, there's the fact that he's been in Iraq longer than any reporter or soldier. Second, he's demonstrably not a GOP mouthpiece. Remember him tearing apart McCain after McCain said that one could just walk through a Baghdad marketplace?

2. He does get points for tearing apart McCain

and there maybe something to be said for the argument he gave "we broke it, we have to fix it," but at this point, I just don't believe our staying there makes one bit of difference. I just don't see how we are helping either ourselves or the Iraqis in fixing it. It is not like what they said they feared isn't all ready happening to some extent even with our troops still there any way. JMHO.

That Kristin chick who was doing the interview however is IMHO a total rethug apologist.

What happened to Soledad O'Brien any way? Is she coming back?

3. Nah. The O'Briens are both done. It's kind of a shame.
I much prefer John Roberts to Miles O'Brien. I don't think either of them are necessarily partisan, but Miles struck me as ... well, stupid.

I feel like Soledad just got caught in the crossfire, though. They should've kept her, kicked out Miles, and brought on Roberts, if they felt like they had too shake things up.

4. Yeah I didn't care for Miles either.

I do miss Soledad and I hope this Kristin chick doesn't last. I think Roberts is kind of smarmy.

5. I'm looking forward to next week...
the only time I watch cable news is first thing in the morning when I wake up and am trying to get out of bed and get ready for work. And all next week, MSNBC's got Stephanie Miller! :woohoo:
