Can you see your pulse in your belly? |
|
My keen skills of "doing homework," and "delving through research" have yielded the observation that when I'm lying down, I can see my pulse in my belly. I never noticed this before.
Respond. It will delay the inevitable: my actual productivity.

I've never seen my pulse in my belly, but years ago (when I was in good shape) I could sometimes see my pulse down near my ankle bone.

Maybe I just couldn't see it when I was heavier, and that's why I never noticed it. Can't see it near my ankle bone, though!

5. I can't usually see it.... |
|
But sometimes if I lie down on my stomach after I eat, I can *feel* it there.
Briarius has crazy neck veins... his whole neck moves with his pulse! :)

I get creeped out by feeling the pulse in my neck, for some reason. I could never be an EMT; I'm afraid of blood even when it's inside the body! :P

I discovered it the same way: laying down reading, say, photocopied article resting below ribcage and noticing it bounce while I tried to read.
Now get back to studying.

12. It may or may not be indicative of anything enviable. |
|
If it's a matter of thinness; well, I'm nasty thin right now, so nothing to envy there.

17. Lol! And just as I read that, |
|
my husband walked in the room, handed me a blizzard and said, "here- this'll fatten you up a little bit" (as he seems to be rather fond of saying.)

13. There's something happening, but it's not my pulse. |
|
It's just the fat jiggling.

15. It may be, as I noted in response to another poster, |
|
that you have a "jiggly pulse."
Optical illusions abound, after all!
