Best guitar solo available on YouTube?
I know we have had a lot of threads about the best drummers and drum solos, but I don't recall anything recent about guitarists. I have always been a fan of Blue Oyster Cult so I would like to offer the following from Buck Dharma. It's not technically a solo but his guitar is the main focus of the piece. Anybody else have any favorites?

Buck's Boogie from 2002:

1. Monte Montgomery's "Little Wing"
Who woulda thunk that you could do justice to Hendrix on an acoustic (amplified) guitar? He manages it, though. The middle drags a little, but his majestic return to theme for the finale more than makes up for a bit of self-indulgence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31QQ1gNpAaY

I love Slash's solo in "Sweet Child O' Mine," at the point where he cranks up the wah-wah, and would rank it up there with "Whole Lotta Love" for lead breaks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDeGbMr1I1E

Andy McKee's all over the instrument in "Drifting": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ddn4MGaS3N4

2. Wow! That was awesome! I had never heard of Monte Montgomery before.
I am truly impressed. It made my hands hurt watching him play. I will definitely keep that for viewing at a later date. Thanks for sharing!

6. HOleee...
That's absolutely incredible! Sounds quite like the Hellecasters without electricity.

I was hoping to find a video of Triumph doing "Suitcase Blues" with Rik Emmett's make-your-heart-cry-it's-so-beautiful guitar work, but...

This is a pretty good example of Emmett's deftness, though. (But the synch is way off.)

7. WOW!!! That was fantastic, opiate69!
I think this guy has it all over the previous one you posted. Just as I thought I couldn't keep up with his fingers any longer, it seemed like I started to see the notes jumping off the strings. I'm getting some great new stuff here. Thank you all for posting!

15. Ouch! That's pretty steep. It might be worth it though if I can't find it anywhere else.
Thanks for looking that up.
