This scene cracks me the hell up! From Almost Famous

Then this song afterwards (the next day) is awesome:

Tiny Dancer

ELTON JOHN LYRICS

"Tiny Dancer"

Blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band
Pretty eyed, pirate smile, you'll marry a music man
Ballerina, you must have seen her dancing in the sand
And now she's in me, always with me, tiny dancer in my hand

Jesus freaks out in the street
Handing tickets out for God
Turning back she just laughs
The boulevard is not that bad

Piano man he makes his stand
In the auditorium
Looking on she sings the songs
The words she knows the tune she hums

But oh how it feels so real
Lying here with no one near
Only you and you can hear me
When I say softly slowly

Hold me closer tiny dancer
Count the headlights on the highway
Lay me down in sheets of linen
you had a busy day today

Blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band
Pretty eyed, pirate smile, you'll marry a music man
Ballerina, you must have seen her dancing in the sand
And now she's in me, always with me, tiny dancer in my hand

I love that movie...

Who's your favorite band member or groupie?

1. I used to sing Tiny Dancer to my daughter when she was
a baby and we'd dance around the room together

3. It sounds like "Tony Danza."
If I don't pay attention, I only hear "Tony Danza" as a seamstress to the band. :)

2. I love that movie.
Even Kate Hudson was good in it.

Jason Lee was unusually brilliant. I liked him in other things, but this was the first real showing that he could act.

7. She's really flat in the other roles I've seen her in.
She doesn't do slapstick comedy very well, in my opinion.

She was originally supposed to play the sister and got Penny Lane when Sarah Polley backed out. That seemed to be lucky for the film. Sarah Polley is depressing.
