1. What's trisodium phosphate?
And what happens if you don't wear gloves?

3. More commonly known as TSP
Makes your skin feel really, really creepy — not unlike if you bathed it in gasoline. x(

2. I took the paint off some models with undiluted PineSol once and didn't wear gloves.
Eventually the skin on my hands grew back. Ouch.

4. I've had that happen with carburetor cleaner
Looked and felt like leprosy or somethin'. :scared:

Why were you de-paintin' the models?

5. Bought somebody else's 40K army and wasn't impressed by their paint-fu.
So I stripped and repainted them.

6. Ah
I understand.

Can't go into battle in paint-fu.

Dog, you crack me up.

7. Use Citrasolve
I haven't found anything that stuff won't clean, and it's environmentally friendly and smells great.

It's pricey, but you can dilute it a lot.

8. TSP is fairly basic--the high pH turns the fat in your tissues to soap
along the lines of lye soap.

That stuff really handles the grease though, doesn't it?

9. It does
I used it last night on the hideously fugly kitchen linoleum, which hadn't been cleaned since 1924. Now it looks only about 30 years old.

I especially like TSP for cleaning walls prior to painting.

10. I used to see that when I was a kid. Does it still come in an orange and blue box?

11. Well... yeah.
Wear gloves or dilute it. Make sure you read the contraindications.
