Pump up the volume?
certain songs just get turned up to an unhealthy level, in the car especially. i sing along like a maniac, head bobbing, and grinning. it's a spiritual event.

right now, it's three dance tracks by eddy grant: NOBODY'S GOT TIME (TIME WARP), WALKING ON SUNSHINE, LIVING ON THE FRONTLINE.

it could also be frankie goes to hollywood (relax).

what gets turned up too loud in your car?

6. Time warp
Joe Jackson (Big World tracks)... Elvis Costello (just about anything)... old Peter Gabrielle and Talking Heads... and the regions oldie/new progressive music station... Of course most of the time I am commuting listening to news (two NPR stations)... but when it gets depressing... time to turn on the progressive station.. or pop in the old CDs
