My nephew is getting married next Saturday!!!!

He is 26, his fiancee is 38 and the divorced mother of three kids -- boys 10 and 8 and a girl who is 6.

We are so excited. They are a great couple, despite the age difference. The kids adore my nephew and he adores them. Tom has always been great with kids. Including the triplets.

They became engaged over Easter weekend, but the wedding has been moved up because they need to buy a house. The house they currently live in must be sold for her divorce settlement. The closing is early next month.

My nephew spent four years in the Army (and never got sent to Iraq or Afgahnistan by the love of the gods) and his GI homebuying benefits are far better if he is married vs. living together.

Ah hell, they planned to do it anyway.

:toast: to May 19, 2007. He is already a terrific father, and the kids' father is very involved in his kids' lives.

I am so happy for this couple.

Got to love a new family being born.
