Let's see, I'm pro-abortion, anti-god, ambivilent on children, pro-cannibis, pro-gun, pro-animal testing, pro-tax, pro-spend, anti-military (the institution, not the people), pro-conservation, anti-growth, anti-automobile and pro national health.

I have this growth but I'm afraid to show it to anyone but my doctor...

But here are the real reasons:

1. The fundraising. Many here have already said it, but it's true. It costs too much money to run for president. We'll never see a common-sense middle-class person in the Oval Office. National elections are the sport of the wealthy and the sophisticated whores. Campaign finance reform, taxpayer-funded elections, etc. are fantasies that will never level the playing field, and it's a waste of time to wish upon those stars. Even if a middle-class person were elected president, the upper-class establishment of Washington, D.C. would treat him or her as an outcast -- especially members of the president's own party. They'd have disdain for such a president like Ted Knight had for Rodney Dangerfield in "Caddyshack."

2. The length of the campaign season. The race for the White House is now a ridiculous four-year slog. I don't want to spend so much time away from my family and home, especially when both my sons are 3 years old and younger. It would be horrible on my part to miss such a wonderful time in their lives just to satisfy my political ambitions.

And that's the way it is.

Simply because during MY term, there would be no CEO making 500 times what their average worker makes, there'd be no job offshoring and I'd tax the living fuck out of the 5-mil-a-year and over crowd. Corporations wouldn't bully-run MY America like they do Bewsh's.
