I was banned this morning, ask me anything!

Well only for 15 minutes or so. When I first tried to log in DU said I was banned. So I lurked while eating breakfast, then tried logging in again and voila! I'm in.

A DUer who has never so much had a post deleted, I felt like I had been transported to the planet Htrae, said to orbit the sun exactly opposite Earth's orbit, and everything there is exactly the opposite of Earth. Left was Right. In a physical sense and in politics and everything else. There was a cool movie on this subject.

Like you're suddenly on the most desolate spot in the Universe?

Perhaps this was some preemptive banning. This preemptive actions based on mere suspicions and fears seems to be the thing to do these days.

As far as I'm concerned... they admins made the right decision. Why take chances? Better safe than sorry. Right? --- Due process, and presumption of innocence are outdated notions.

Besides... You should have known better than too give yourself a disruptor-sounding username. In reality, this is all YOUR FAULT for not complying with the known standards for universally acceptable usernames. (SNARF!) :hi:

P.S. FOR FUTURE REFERENCE: I think misspelling words is a sure sign of a disruptor. We've got the spell checker ONLINE now, and only those lazy disrupters are the ones who won't use it. (And goodness knows that they definitely NEED it.)

Their messages are fraught with typographical errors and outright misspellings, and they are in such a hurry to get their nasty little replies posted that don't bother to check the spelling. It's a sure sign if you ask me. :hi:

It happened to me one time, and I nearly had a heart attack. But alas I'm still here. Sometimes I think it's just a hiccup or an error. Nothing to worry about, unless you can't get BACK in...in which case, you could always get a new ID.

who had a termendous peace platform, a raging economy, everyone was working and loved to read and doesn't find happiness through consuming and buying things, the government was run by elected officials who represented their people and weren't running their own industries on the side getting government contracts, and we were looked at by the rest of Htrae as the leaders in cultural and social progressiveness.
