Good news! Chick Tracts are entertaining again!
This one's called "Fairy Tales?"

http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/1033/1033_01.asp?wpc=1033_01.asp&wpp=a

Sweet innocent boy becomes mass murderer after he finds out there's no Santa Claus. No shit.

2. Heh, that is a good one.
He never did get around to saying what it was that Harry did to get himself on the Most Wanted list though - kind of a cop-out

I liked the "evil people" montage.

Do Alito, Roberts, or Thomas read Chick tracts? I didn't even know the guy was still alive...and teaching kids how not to think rationally...

7. 'They're praying to their moon god, son.'
What the hell is that jackass doing hanging around a mosque anyway? That entire tract makes no sense.

9. The funny thing about that one is
the stuff about the pagan Arabian origins of the worship of Allah is reasonably accurate, though greatly simplified, and worded to cast it in the worst possible light. But would it ever occur to him to apply the same line of thinking to the elements of Christianity that are obviously adapted from the various contemporary religions of the Middle East, like the Mithras cult and Zoroastrianism? I wouldn't hold my breath.

What kind of crazy inverted Christian loves Jews and hates Catholics anyway?

13. Oh, help me, Jebus!
"The Islamic religion is bringing England to her knees"

I don't think Chick's been here recently - if at all.

6. Wow, that one is pretty damn funny.
The problem with Chick Tracts is that sometimes they're so horrible that they become really depressing. However, the really ridiculous and funny ones are greatly entertaining.

8. good grief
the scary thing to me is someone could just walk up on the street and hand one of those horrid things to my child when she's old enough. That thing could scare her to death.

Oh well, freedom of speech, I guess we have to take the good with the bad.

10. A call to action in this tract.
Not for Jesus, but for mental health care.

Sheesh. If a lie from your parents turns you into Osama bin Laden, then someone needs some psychiatric medication.

12. Wait, wait, wait..
I know looking for logic in a Chick tract is futile, but let me get this straight: A boy shoots his classmates because they tell him Santa's not real? And it's the Parents' fault for telling him about Santa in the first place? Wow.

But anyway, asking the Easter Bunny "Are You Jesus?" is gold, right there.

God, this takes me back to that one about Dungeons and Dragons being a recruitment device for witches somehow ("Aww, now in addition to not going to Prom, you're also going to Hell. Haw, Haw!").

14. Chick Tracts are like candy to me
They are so over the top hysterical that I actually go out of my way looking for them when we're out around town. When I find one (usually in thrift stores or at bus stops), it's like I won the lottery; Mrs. E pretends she doesn't know me when this happens:D

15. As with the "Moon Goddess" tract...
...I don't think the juxtaposition of Chick's hate god alongside those he considers mythical really serves his purpose. Quite the reverse! If I had to sell a religion like his, the last thing I'd do is invoke Santa or the Easter Bunny.

16. I found a tract just for Jerry Falwell!
"Reverend Wonderful."

http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/0095/0095_01.asp

Preachers getting sent to hell for not subscribing to Chick Theology is a popular theme in Jack's work, but this one seems very apt considering who Falwell was.
