I have a bruise in the shape of the number 8 on my thigh - is this a sign?

This is the bruise from the scooter lady at the store. For those who don't remember that post, I was pissed as hell at some lady on the scooter who wasn't looking where she was going and she ran into me.

So now on my thigh (the handle hit there) is this big purple blotch but in the middle of the blotch is some unbruised sections that come across as the perfect number 8. I should take a photograph of it.

So what kind of sign is this on my thigh?

It's shapped just like this except it's a blob and not a perfect circle around the #8.
