Benefits children have that you do not.
Children can wear dinosaurs on their clothes, think it's cool and maintain their dignity. Children can eat a thousand cookies and not feel any guilt. Children have nap time built into their days. The tub is big enough for you and all your toys with room to spare. Others?

over seemingly minor things and they don't care one whit what others think of them for doing so.

18. More patient in learning to do things and to do them well
Most of what keeps me from taking up activities is that I do them for a few days and the say "I suck." and quit doing them. That didn't happen to me when I was a child.
