If a temp fell in the woods.....

God bless her she is nice and kind and everything but oh my god do we have a real mushhead for a temp in my office.

I am not kidding-I almost handed her a step by step post it note to carry with her on a task earlier today. This wasn't complicated at all-I had given her some paperwork and very slowly told her who needed it and what she needed to do with it and after THREE phone calls ...then lunch she shows up back in my office to ask about it again. My shoulders actually slumped when I found out that we were STILL talking about THAT.

We have had temps in here before and most are really great-get jobs elsewhere and go on but this one takes the cake. Her position is open pretty soon and as much as I hate to say it ---I hope someone else gets the job.

I seriously worry about her and I mean in a -crossing the street- kind of way (I saw her coming back from lunch and swear to god as she waved at me she almost got hit by a car--I'm not kidding)

Are we still at full employment?

I've always thought our economy could be so much more efficient if certain people were paid to stay out of the work force. We had a temp named Bunny once. Her job performance was approximately what you'd expect of a woman who called herself Bunny.

Thanks at least something went well this week.
