Is Firefox fucking up for anyone?
The last couple of weeks I've been getting strange behavior.

Like I'll start the browser to find all my settings reset, the theme set to default, my extensions all turned off or otherwise changed.

And just now the Foxmarks extension went screwy and deleted all of my bookmarks.

It's really starting to get annoying. I'm seriously considering going back to Opera again.

3. Hmm. Maybe I'll just uninstall everything and do a fresh re-install
I like Opera, but I just can't get the adblocking feature to work as well as Firefox's does.

It's irritating. I would switch over in a heartbeat, but Opera's content blocking system is the only holdup.

6. Uninstalling Firefox leaves your profile behind.
When you re-install it you will still have the same profile, and the same problems. Assuming it is a problem with your profile. I'm 95% sure that it is.

Google for directions on how to save your profile someplace else. Move the old one and try Firefox again. Then you can slowly rebuild your profile with bits of your old one until you find the corrupt file that was fucking things up.

7. Well, I think I'm golden here
I did an uninstall and re-install and it turns out that I was a version behind. For some reason the auto-updater thing wasn't working at all.

Anyway, I'm all squared away I think. I still lost my bookmarks, but I can live with that.

4. I wish I could help. I've had no problems here.
:(

Have you tried uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling?
