1. online? BAH!
Why, back in my day, we played 20 Questions the old fashioned way, with strategery and guile. And only a paltry 1 and 5 record for yours truly, the unclever game host.

How anyone ever got the friggin' Dutch West Indies is beyond me.

3. "Are you calling me on a CELL PHONE?!?
Prank call! PRANK CALL!!!"

Bonus points to identify the movie and the character, Mr. Kleeb.

6. Pulp Fiction...
Dealer to Travolta (who, coincidentally, was eating a couple of tables over from me here in New Orleans, earlier this evening. His hair is now blond.)

5. Well, back in MY day
We were too poor to answer 20 questions. We could only do 19 and guess on the 20th.

7. Holy Sh**
That's a little frightening. It's better at twenty questions than most of the human beings I know (which probably says more about the human beings I know than the program itself, but still).

10. I hate these things because they are so addictive
I spent half the night with the one that guessed the dictator or the sitcom character. I sent that one to my friend, at work, and she was terribly unproductive that particular night.

I stumped it with a cloud, a veterinarian and a Brussels Griffon (my dog). It guessed a satellite dish and a firefly. I'm tempted to send this one to my friend, as well.

14. I stumped it.
It didn't have "homeopathic remedy" in its knowledgebase. These are the things it thought I was thinking about:

popcorn, an aspirin, sunflower seeds, anti-depressants, a strawberry, a tear (crying), honey, a cheese puff, flour, a cherry, a suppository, sugar.

This is so depressing. By the 1920s, every fifth doctor in this country was a homeopath. Now it is no longer part of our culture thanks to the pharmaceutical companies.

21. It seems to be pretty good with animals
For me it easily got dolphin and woolly mammoth. It got tapir, though it took 29 questions. It didn't get sailfish, though.

Pretty cool little game.

23. I beat it with my dog, a Brussels Griffon, but he's pretty unusual
It knew I was asking about a small dog, just couldn't guess the breed.

Welcome to DU, geebensis!:toast:
