I just spilled red wine on my key board. Am I buying a new one tomorrow?

I blew it out with compressed air. And, as you can see, it still seems to be typing OK.... Boy, I feel stupid... :argh:

1. I'd unplug it, pull the keys up and wipe it out with a wetnap.
Otherwise, it could get sticky under there.

That means I'll have to unscrew the back plate?

I don't know enough about your keyboard, but I can pop the keys right off of mine with a pen. Then, press them back on with a click. I wouldn't recommend it, if it doesn't look like it would work for you.

This is some fancy-schmancy one my wife had me buy. Saitek Eclipse. Lighted keys. I've taken every screw out, and even had to go to the shed for allen wrenches. It won't come open. I was able to pry it open a bit with the screws out, and it has layers and layers of stuff. I'm going to put the screws back in and paray for a healing. Thanks for the input. -L

5. Reminds me of the time I spilled Chardonnay on mine!
Most of the keys worked afterwards! Sticky stuff when it dries! :)

of ruined beer splattered keyboards. But each time I do it again, I get to pull one out of closet. It's like a fun game here. :)

9. That's nothing...I puked on mine last night.
And yes...this is being typed on a different one. :) The sad part is I wasn't even drinking.Got a funny electric buzz go through my head,I shook it to clear it...then yakked prodigiously. It was a fun cleanup.
