I spent my holiday at Ikea
Edited on Mon May-28-07 08:19 PM by Sannum
That was a fucking mistake to go when everyone else and their cat was off of work too....

I do have some pretty and really retro new drapes for my bedroom that are going to look awesome. (My walls are gray and the headboard is brown and upholstered and the linens are simple white).I have to wait until the maintance guy can hang them, but I am admiring them in the package.

I also got new dishes, glasses, silverware, a bunch of candles.

My apartment is so pretty:P, Furnished with high-end furniture that was on sale 60% off, antique stores, some flea markets and tar-jhay.

1. I really like them....
They are very nice with out being over bearing...
They won't take over the room

Did you have any Swedish Meatballs??? Our IKEA is by
Newark airport (Liberty something airport)...
Anyway they have an outside eating area where you can
watch the planes land and take off......

I brought a bag of frozen ones home with that berry sauce they serve them with. Most of the time I am not a big eater, so 5 of those suckers are a meal:*

Thanks for the input! I like really light, simple with some eclectic stuff thrown in to make it interesting. I might line them with more room-darkening stuff, but they are already lined, so I will see how it is and play it by air.

I went to the one in Schaumburg...I live in downtown Chicago so it wasn't very much of a hike. I do hurt tho...
