The absolute cutest damn thing anybody has ever done for me.
It made me cry and so I'm telling you about it.

I've been seeing this guy, on and off. I won't list all of his wonderful qualities - just assume - but he is very busy and on occasion I've felt insecure (who, me?) about his interest because he has so little time to spend on anything besides his work and two rambunctious teenage daughters. I've been fretting and trying to disguise this fact from him because I don't want to be a dreadful, clingy, needy woman. Anyhow: this morning I received an email from him. When I opened it, I read: "Call me when you get this message and then scroll down." I hate the freaking phone but I called. Instead of his normal away message, I heard his favorite song start up, "I Only Have Eyes For You." OMG! I scrolled down and found he'd posted the lyrics which I read as I listened to the entire song. When it was done I scrolled to the bottom of the page and read this, "Do you understand what I'm trying to tell you?"

Swoon. As I just wrote Maineiac, I am totally screwn. This man is deeply, deeply adorable. Help!

46. Everyone has baggage Crim son...
You just hold on and hope it's not too much....lol

My sister in law was at a county fair and while she was sitting in the bleachers waiting for a concert she was talking about how there aren't any good men left. A woman heard her say this and turned around and told her that her brother says the same thing about women. My sil wrote down her phone number for the woman and her brother called her the next day. Two months later they were married and that was 8 1/2 years ago.

I was lucky. I met my wife when I was 15 and she was 13. We dated for a long time and were apart for a long time but we were always crazy about each other. We always stayed in touch and we did see each other every couple of years. I got divorced about 8 years ago and I called her immediately (she got divorced about 5 years before that). I truly think we were meant to be together and I think we were supposed to wait until we matured before we finally got together.

Good for you Crim son

:hi:

When I first started seeing him, Maineiac and I believed he must be reading some sort of seduction manual because he consistently surprises me with this sort of thing.

I'm happy for you lizziegrace. Is this the younger fellow you were posting about a while back? Or somebody different?

39. I do, every day
I have no earthly idea what he sees in me, but I don't question anymore.

I sent him a text when I bought the car on Friday. He said it was terrific. I asked why my hands were shaking. He replied "it's because that's what you do"

Like the guy you've found, he seems to know you better than you know yourself. Or at least he's so tuned in that he can see what we hope to hide...

Does this make sense??

42. I know.
I am also utterly paranoid about being "used" by somebody simply because they're lonely. That mistake I've made once before, with devastating consequences.

My fellow just called and asked me to go with him on a weekend trip to a blues festival. In July. Here I go, lizziegrace. I'm going to take the risk as you have. We DESERVE happiness, even if it's not forever-happiness.

Actually I hate romantic things. I would just hate it if someone did that to me.

But I think most women really like romantic stuff. Guys need to pay more attention to this kind of thing.

20. Normally I am not a romantic, not at all. It makes me uncomfortable.
But I know exactly why he did this, when he did. It's not the romance but his understanding of my feelings that has me flat on my back with astonishment.
