And God forbid I should get polite correction here in the Lounge, especially when I meant no harm, and was just trying to give well-meaning advice. Nooo, I get sarcasm, vitriol, and really hateful insults about my sexual prowess and experience (or, admittedly, lack thereof, although God knows I try) and concern for my partner's happiness (which I do have).

A simple "this can be harmful and you shouldn't have advocated it" would have sufficed, without having 3 different people flaming me. Sheesh, I thought the Lounge was supposed to be a respite from the flamewars.

that some people visit here just to rant and rave. They get up on the wrong side of the bed everyday. Don't let it get to you. Just ignore them and get on with your life. Those people just are not happy unless they have something to complain about.

PS Douching makes the yeasty beasties and bacterial issues much worse. It's self cleaning and getting rid of beneficial bacteria throws the whole system out of whack.

PPS Should you run into a lady with persistent issues like that down there, get her to go to the doctor. Self-diagnosed recurrent yeast or bacterial infections often turn out to be something else, such as chlamydia, when looked at by a professional.

PPSS If you already have, go get checked out yourself in case you caught something you could be spreading. Dudes spread yeast infections and other yucky stuff too.
