This is me w/ my son. He's been causing me a lot of heartache lately, but I guess that only proves how important he is to me. If I didn't love him so much, watching him struggle wouldn't be so difficult.

here's my daughter and myself (I'm the blonde for anyone who doesn't know. She's the tall, gorgeous brunette who is way too beautiful for being 15):

I'm 5'4". She's 5'9". I usually have people tell me I look about ten years younger and she looks more like a college student than a high school freshman. People are always giving us strange looks at stores when I pay for her stuff. Not to mention, I'm apparently a "cool mom that dresses cool". :D

Me and Oktoberain, taken in the early spring of last year, when our friend Ashley, a junior in the journalism program, followed us around for a few days and used us for her 'human interaction' final project.

She got an "A+", and we got a collection of really great candid photos.

I enjoyed this thread, especially all the babies and grandbabies and nephews and such. So cute! I look really crummy in this picture, but that's really how it goes. There was a lot of screaming and vomiting right before this picture was taken.

We're like, a little over halfway down on the left side. We got married in Las Veagas on 9/27/02 and went to Bartfest the next day. I kind of feel really fortunate that I found someone who shares my politics and my life so neatly. And he's a cutie.

(Disclaimer: My smile is disturbing when viewed even from a distance--It is shark-like and the rest of my face seems to crumple around it with a profusion of dimples and a wrinkly nose--pay this no mind. I am not nearly so gleeful most of the time. And of course I was giddy with being newlywed and tequila-sodden.)
