KNOCKED UP is the funniest movie I've seen since BORAT
This movie is comedic gold. For my money it's the best film of 2007 so far. Much better than Wedding Crashers or the 40 Year Old Virgin.

On par with Borat and some of the classic comedies of the 80s and 90s.

Go see this film. The whole audience was rolling. There was hardly a joke that didn't connect in this movie, and there must have been hundreds of them.

It's a sweet film too, once you get around the pot-smoking and cheating husbandry and lying.

Highly recommended.

2. A friend saw it tonight for his birthday and said it was really good, too.
A friend whose opinion I value, I mean.

3. I saw it today too
it's definitely the best comedy I've seen all year and it wasn't one of those over the top crude sick-o comedies (not that there's anything wrong with that) but actually like you said was a pretty sweet story.

Seth Rogen is a really funny dude

I had wrote it off as just another relationship "Men are afraid of commitment-Women are crazy when pregnant" comedies.

I'll check it out.

usual "out there" kind of sexually-charged director who might have relished the idea of showing more. Describing himself as a very moral man, Lee purposely shot the scenes in extreme low light and really seemed uncomfortable even explaining how he tried to instruct the two actors. Neither of them had ever played in this kind of scene, so it was kind of "the blind leading the blind" for the one scene where Jake and Heath are shown together.

14. Maybe so... that scene was very understated, in my opinion. It was all innuendo, pretty much.

Compare that to the Viggo Mortensen -- Maria Bello heterosexual love scenes in "A History of Violence." The film's director, David Cronenberg, and his wife, DEMONSTRATED ACTUAL SEX for them on the set in order to get good performances.

That's the other end of the scale -- and off the charts -- in my opinion. Shocking, to say the least, and the original article made me cringe.

Here's the story:
