Do you find that you have certain inane memories indelibly etched
into your memory banks?

For some strange reason, I remember a point in time when I was having my hair 'frosted' in a little salon in Pacifica one bright and shiny Saturday morning while listening to Paul Simon's "Kodachrome" playing on the radio.

I don't know why? It's just there!

1. I know I do - I'm trying to think of some
Oh, here's one - I remember getting four fillings in my teeth as a kid and listening to "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" in the dentist's office. I have never liked that song - wonder why??

3. Yes, and it makes me crazy.
I can't remember important stuff like dr. appointments and overdue library books, but I can remember dopey things from high school and college. Not only do I remember them, I go over them again and again in my head. Lately, I have been thinking a lot about an old boyfriend... from 40 years ago! Geez, get out of my head already!

5. Yeah, definitely...
I remember being at the public pool as a little kid and listening to my mom and her friends giggling and chatting while they were listening to "Hard Day's Night" by the Beatles...don't remember the words but I do remember quite distinctly that it had to do with the Beatles...odd...

6. Ooh, now that you mention it
Now I remember being at the swimming pool as a kid and listening to and enjoying the original "Lean On Me."
