5. I hate working for companies that have a bored wife working there
One place I worked they called her the "Cost Control Manager"
She had her own large office and her job was to go around and collect the envelopes that everyone's paychecks came in to be re-used, to see if people had more than one pen or sticky note pad on their desks, give people so many pieces of paper for the copy machine and other stuff like that.
...but the bathrooms in the building were in the commons area for all the other offices to share. One time she saw a magic marker cap on the floor and gave the whole office, husband and partner included a fifteen minute lecture about waste. The total was eight on the clock employees wasting their time listening to her. As far as the owner's....as long as she was occupied, pestering the employees instead of them they were happy.
:grr: :nuke: The kids/wives/other relatives can't act worth a damn, and it's just embarrassing. I've never visited a business that uses that type of ads.
But pets.... yes indeed. :) The dogs and cats just have to look cute, which they do. :D
here in Charleston for a pawn shop with 2 yappy chihuahuas barking over the voice copy. It made you want to use those dogs for the purpose they were originally bred for.
15. The worst ones we have here is a little twerp in a white tuxedo....
....who tells us we should buy our windows and screens from his dad, then there's the equally idiotic Toyota Twins who's pimping parents think their eight year old daughters are the next Paris Hiltons.
...if they used a real mutt. That one looks like a pampered old lady's pooch. Show me an ugly old mangy mutt shedding and scratching fleas all over the bed and you got my business.
There are two of them out here who are like fingernails on a blackboard to me. Tom Shane, the Diamond King or whatever he calls himself who has a horrible voice and always sounds like he's speaking through a mouthful of mashed potatos and some dude named Hartzheim who owns auto dealerships - he always sounds like he's hammered - slurring and mumbling.
