I really hate her, and that song. In fact it was on the radio on the way to work today and I had to change the channel which I rarely due. But it could be because my loathing of her is so intense more than it is that the song itself is any worse than most out there. If anything she herself is worse than the Britney's and Paris Hiltons because she plays the same stupid media, prefab games as they do but somehow likes to pretend that she's some sort of authentic rocker chick when the reality is she was just as pre-fab as the rest of them. God, she's awful.

She actually writes and plays her own music, something Britney has never done.

Not that it would be a huge surprise, given that most of today's music is directly stole- -- whoops, I mean copied -- from older stuff.

I don't like the song because I don't like to hear five minutes of shouting. I don't like the song because its accompanying video, while attempting to be funny, is downright mean.

that is endearing to me at least. She put a little too many tongue and cheek lyrics on The Best Damn Thing, and the cheerleader choruses seem more appropriate for her first CD, but I love her voice and there's still a lot of good power pop.

That song sucks, along with Gym Class Heroes ripoff from Supertramp, although I'm not a big fan of them, either. The best thing that Avril did was marry Derek Whibley from Sum 41. He's hot, and talented. Whatevs.

The song is catchy and infectious. And the video's a lot of fun, too, from the bumper cars to the porta-potty. Avril's just too darn cute for her own good.

It's a catchy, youthful song. She should enjoy writing and performing this now because she's not gonna be able to get away with this material much longer.
