33. "What does the yellow light mean?"
I fell out of my chair crying with laughter when that first aired. I had been in a depression that day.

That became a catchphrase for years among friends whenever we encountered a situation of unusual stupidity.

Gloria and Meathead's wedding. Dingbat tortures the piano, and we have to wait for Archie.

edit: Here's something odd. The second "related video" is a Lindsay Lohan nipple slip! I have trouble making the connection, though I guess both clips feature a dingbat prominently.

Genius...

Curb Runner Up: When Larry and Cheryl get roped into attending a dinner party thrown by a guy they really don't know.
The look on Cheryl's face, vibing Larry, when the guy starts telling a story about his young days as a porn star. It involved a Teamster and an alternate use for Tabasco sauce.

"Which Larry David helmed sitcom episode am I gonna have to narrow it down to?"
My wife never cared for Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm (I still love her anyway), but that episode convinced her of his genius.

37. And Larry proved that he was no jerk, but rather a man of sensitivity...
and good manners.
It was like the old anecdote about the dinner guest who drank from the finger bowl, so the hostess proceeded to sip from her own.

34. There was one on Murphy Brown that I couldn't find on Youtube
Edited on Wed Jun-06-07 10:02 AM by kwassa
where Candice Bergen is interviewing Wallace Shawn as a political candidate where his political positions get more and more outrageous.

Does anyone else remember this?

Murphy Brown: The Best and Not-So-Brightest
1995-USA-Workplace Comedy/Media Satire/Sitcom

PLOT DESCRIPTION
Wallace Shawn returns as Stuart Best, the original anchorman for "FYI". As obnoxious as he was behind the news desk, Best is even more so now that he is a Republican congressman--especially when he goes out of his way to humiliate Murphy (Candice Bergen) in public. Thirsting for revenge, Murphy arranges to "grill" Stuart on her TV show--but the results are surprising for both parties! ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide

So I don't know what you posted, but I would certainly vote for the finale of "Newhart," with Bob waking up in his old sitcom next to Suzanne Pleshette (sp).
