My friend has a rescued lab that she walks twice a day because the animal is pretty feisty.

Today, she was walking her on a dead end street next to the high school my kids go to, as well as her daughter.

She was walking along, minding her own business when a police car pulled up and asked "Is that your minivan parked down the street?" (Full disclosure: Said minivan is a silver Odyssey covered in stickers and magnets indicating that she has kids and pets)

She says: "Yes, is there a problem?"

Officer: "No, ma'am, we just wanted to make sure it wasn't Al Qaeda".

Not. Shitting. You.

He didn't say 'terrorist', or 'burglar' or 'rapist' or 'stalker' or anything like that. He said Al Qaeda.

She replies: "I'm pretty sure that they can't spell (name of our town) let alone find it.
