2. Blame Will Smith

Wil had a disagreement with Janet Hubert-Whiten and she was let go. Then they brought in Daphne Maxwell-Reid. She's nowhere near as good and the show completely falls apart by the time Will himself takes full control of the show. Which is sad, Will Smith is a funny guy but nobody should have complete control. Much like William Shatner in Star Trek, he had the last word in everything that happened and everyone else suffered because of it.

The Janet days are, by far, the better - for both plot and Janet #1.

as the original mom left.... the show "jumped the shark"...
I liked the original moms sass.... the newer one was too cookie cutter.. too much like every other mom on TV...
