My students are taking their final exam right now, and I can only walk around the room watching them do it so many times.

I went over there for the Christmas holiday, and I tried out some language tapes before I left. It didn't really help much with the pronunciation, but a few of the phrases stuck in my head. Did I translate your question above correctly as "Do you live in Wales?"

You translated correctly. I'm just a learner myself. I've been to Wales several times and even took a three-month intensive course. So, anytime I get to speak is great.

And the online Welsh-English dictionaries! LOL

I think our local community colleges offers a non-credit Welsh course. If it's available in the fall, I may take it. It seems complicated, though, with all the spelling changes depending on what words are next to each other.

Welsh spelling is much more regular than English spelling. The mutations thing is a little weird to get used to, but if you don't do it people will still understand you.

That's cool that you have a course at all! It's hard to find courses in Welsh in a lot of places.

I teach 8th grade, so technically, it isn't really a final they're taking. But it is the last big exam (although they don't know that). Heh
