But package size is also important. Too small can be worked around, but too big? That can be a deal-breaker for me.

Not that such a thing is entirely relevant in my current day-to-day life, but still... :)

Navel and chin I never really thought of. Personality, attitude, attraction and skill rate far higher then package size. From a womans point of view, we can be completely satisfied without ever actually having intercourse. I've known a large man with no clue about anything except how to make himself happy and I've known a small man that was simply amazing.

Size doesn't mean much.

79. I have found that as I have aged I know more men who value my mind.
Lord knows I've never been a beauty queen, but I will say that as I have aged I have run across a lot more men who appreciate my attitudes and my intellect. I suppose the fact I've lost weight and I'm doing the gym several times a week hasn't hurt any, but I'm very serious when I say that I feel much more valued as a woman as I have aged.

I have always enjoyed men and their sense of humor. I just don't GET a lot of what passes for women's social stuff, and when I was younger i think I actually made some men uncomfortable because I didn't fit the stereotypes. I dunno. YMMV.

84. It's losing weight
My weight was directly proportionate to the amount of interest I attracted from men when I was young enough. You may be right, age may not be a problem so much as weight. That's the obsession of our culture.

But when I was young and thin, my brains were definitely in the way - probably because it threatened that I might have some control.

I have always been able to be just friends with mayh guys, though, and that's the good side of it, and I've been able to enjoy their humor due to that.

when I was younger, women generally despised me for my personality. However, it is refreshing to realize that as I age and mellow, women are gradually beginning to despise me for my looks. :evilgrin:

Well, for guys who are 18-20-something, maybe.

As I get older, I've noticed that a woman's physical appearance changes based on my perception of her. For instance, if I meet a woman who didn't at first catch my eye but I get to know her and she is very intelligent and funny, she actually LOOKS better. Conversely, if I meet a woman who is appealing at first sight but turns out to be not all that bright, or conceited or any other negative personality trait, she no longer looks good physically.

Sorry you have that view of men, but I think you're talking more about boys.

I worked for a guy once, small company, so we talked a lot. He was in his fifties and had left his first wife for a younger woman and by the time I knew him, his SECOND wife was "long in the tooth" for him!

I also lived in So. Cal. at the time, so may have met with a disproportionate amount of shallowness.

A vacuum cleaner, on the other hand fits in a large package.
