What was your favorite Bewitched episode?
My favorite one was when the dogs came down from outer space and they looked like poodles.

2. I liked the one where there were two Darins
One that was all about work, and another Darin that liked to party. I'm not sure, but seems like we saw Sam in a swimsuit too.

3. The two Darin's was kind of odd
I wonder why they didn't kill him off and replace him with a second husband. I guess because it was the 60's and people didn't divorce or remarry back in those days.

6. I like the one where the old darin
shrinks and ends up in a dump and an old drunk finds him and returns him to Samanthat. He asked her for new duds, new specs and a pony. It just breaks my heart everytime I see him in those new clothes and his specs.

And, his simple requests were very touching...

Where they all lose one ability..

I forgot who but one couldn't talk but hear and see, one got blind but could talk and hear, and one got deaf, but could see and talk(shout)

14. I liked the ones with the witches' council
Edited on Mon Jan-19-04 08:06 AM by nu_duer
and the hirearchy thereof. There was one where Sam and somebody were at some otherworldly psychedelic/goth witch happening that had something to do with powers that be in the witch establishment becoming very upset with Sam.

Now that I mention that, I did like the ones where Endora would get p.o.'d and cause a windstorm to wreck the inside of the Stephens' house...

And I liked that period when Sam would wear the, um, collars. Kind of a sexy supernatural S&M thing, I guess. (I was just a kid then, but that woman was hot whatever she wore).

Oh yeah, and the ones with Aunt Clara, the sweet, stuttering older witch who couldn't get her spells right. I think she collected doorknobs.

OK, I liked a lot of the series.

Man, the sixties. Lost in Space and Land of the Giants and Witches and Genies and BatMan. Where is that trippy, reality-bending imagination on today's tv?

23. That episode was Marion Lorne's FINAL Appearance As Aunt Clara
she passed away shortly afterward. Because Marion Lorne had pretty much made the character of Aunt Clara her own, the producers decided not to recast the part. Instead they introduced Esmarelda... another bumbling character whose spells and potions didn't always work as planned.

To answer your question... I don't know that I can pick a favorite one. I love them all equally.

HOWEVER... I can tell you that (as a group) the episodes with Aunt Clara rank at the top. I always look forward to watching and REWATCHING every Aunt Clara episode.
