So I was messing around in the kitchen last night...
and I had some fennel bulb, but I was all out of the usual olive oil, and I ended up sauteing the fennel in butter. And I've got to say it was the most amazing aroma to come out of my kitchen since last thanksgiving. You know how when you're sauteing garlic and onions you get this wondeful synergistic effect and they compliment each other? Well, it was a lot like that. The fennel ended up in a simple red wine marinara, on pasta with bleu cheese- absolutely fucking divine. I justed wanted everybody to know that butter and fennel goes well together. Try it.

So the moral of this store is: Mmmff... mmfff... delicious... mmff...
