It doesn't have to be big

And we all have it, whether its our kids, our work, our writing, our paintings, our music, our ability to make another smile...

1. A blog?
Some Sims 2 legacy stories? Thousands of net postings on various forums?

I'd like to write at least one book. Maybe someday, when I don't have to sell my soul for 40 hours a week.

4. Probably my work...
I've spoiled this community I live in with plumbing services that include good prices, prompt arrival, and spotless work. I've always been complimented with being the cleanest plumber anyone ever saw. And always get comments like - What would I do without you? My wife says I have a fan club with the local older ladies. :)

Well all that's rapidly coming to an end. And my son with the same name and who everybody loves will be left behind as my mark also.

It was a great run. :)

5. Some writings that were meaningful to me
and hopefully will outlast my lifetime.

Memories I'm building now with my little niece and nephew, I hope they will remember me with love and laughter.

To see causes that I've supported over th years continue to grow and florish.

Maybe a foster or adopted kid, if I find the right life partner.

Other than that, I don't know.

7. It will probably be my artwork
Pen and ink drawings that I've reproduced and have put out into the market, and some paintings.

They've already made their way into the secondary market -- husband picked up one of my prints at a garage sale near Syracuse. He was on his way to where I was a few hundred miles east at an antique show that I do. He paid a whopping $2.00 for it. We had a good laugh.

16. Half my genes x 2, a box of recipes they can fight over
and probably at least a dozen reams of medical reports bearing my initials that indicate what great ear-to-keyboard regurgitation was going on as I documented secret histories, the good, the bad, and the ugly diagnoses, operations that changed lives for better or worse, and follow ups that were happy and not so...

19. in all seriousness
i am in school to become an aquatic biologist / limnologist and i will spend the rest of my life making sure that our rivers and lakes are clean and the organisms in them are protected.

i quit my high paying software engineer career to do this, and woe to any business that thinks they can pollute our waters on my watch.

so i guess that will be my legacy, maintaining the purity of our aquatic resources, and it's really satisfying to know that i may make a difference

(hope that didn't sound too corny) :D

20. My dear Taverner...
My mark?

The memories that I'll leave with the folks I leave behind....my children, my husband, and all those I've loved along the way...

My poetry and other assorted scribblings...

A whole lot of digital pics...

I hope that many folks will smile when they remember me......
