And on tonight's menu is?
Couple of boneless pork tenderloins, split, butterflied, and beat flat. One coated in Hot N' Spicy Peanut butter I got for Christmas. The other in a fairly standard red barbecue sauce. Just in case the peanut butter one doesn't work out. Ready for the grill.
Couscous
Green beans
Probably a salad

Et vous (or tu as the case may be)?

1. I'll be there at seven!
Sounds wonderful! I'm having soup...mainly because I'm too lazy to cook. Soup and goldfish...how depressing!

2. Interesting question
We hosted an event last night and served meat/veggie lasagna. One person in the whole group ate the veggie entre. The rest ate most of the excellent meat lasagna!
So......... we're busy making a MEAT SAUCE to go with the leftover veggie lasagna!
We support PETA (pEOPLE eATING tASTY aNIMALS).

11. Had an eggplant & mushroom spaghetti sauce
at a friend's house last week and you would swear it had meat in it. None of us are vegeterians, just a recipe she wanted to try.

20. Aw man/woman?
Sorry.
All that fiber is good for you, though.
I actually had to give up Chex because they gave me a serious...um...gas problem and I'm sure that's a lot more than you wanted to know.
Bon appetit!

7. Veddy simple...
Lamb shoulder chops were on sale again, and I got a dozen or so.

Three of them properly grilled, and a package of frozen spinach heated up in chicken stock with some herbs and mushrooms thrown in.

15. Had lamb "something" last night.
Honest to god, I didn't know it was lamb until we were on the way home and Miz t. said "How did you like the lamb?".

We were at friends' house. They're in their late 70s. She's a decent cook, but belongs to the old southern school when it comes to meat of any kind.
CTSOOI (pronounced "cutsooey")
Cook The Shit Out Of It
The lamb "roast?" was about the size of a child's head, dark brown through and through, and fairly tasteless. I thought it was beef.

25. Too bad...
unless you don't like lamb.

Then, cooking it to an unidentifiable state would be a good thing.

10. You don't want to know
We had a nice lunch - a green pepper stuffed with rice, tofu, capers, and soy cheese, so tonight it's peanut butter on pumpernickel and a lemon meringue lolipop.

17. Kinda the same way.
Don't usually eat much, if anything, for lunch.
If I do, I'll have a very light supper.
Maybe just a few Scotches & sodas?
;-)

that makes me feel virtuous.
Waste not, want not.
I see too much brownish green food go into the garbage can.
Plus, it frees up fridge room.
I'm workin' on it.

Gained 15 pounds over the holidays... yike!

Spaghetti squash with a chicken alfredo sauce.
Green salad w/spinach.
Iced tea with lemon, no sugar.
