Why does my Tivo think I speak Spanish...

in short bursts?


every day, it switches to a spanish-language station for 2 seconds, then switches back to the normal news-nerd stuf I watch.

I get soap operas, talk-shows, weird game shows... but only briefly.

5. My DVD player thinks I read Spanish.
Every time I put in a DVD, it turns the Spanish subtitles on. I have to navigate the menu system and turn them off again.
