I'm a Rocky Horror Picture Show fan. There. I said it.

41. Even if you watched it and hated it,
RHPS is a cultural touchstone in some respects. It's worth renting or buying on DVD. I never would have seen it myself, on my own, but on the night of my high school graduation (1981), five of my best male friends sort of kidnapped me and forced me to see it. I've been a fan ever since. :shrug:

Remind me to tell you about the _gorgeous_ sandals I almost bought today. They have the tiniest little curved heel, and the upper is scalloped to reveal all of the foot except the slivers hidden by the scallops. Red or navy blue. I prefer taupe, but navy would do . . . Oh, I guess I _did_ just tell you about them. (Never mind.)

Okay, yes. I'm gonna go back and get them, and _then_ decide what I can wear them with. They're _scrumptious_. *Jonesin' for shoes*

beatiful elegant lace up leather shoes -- one cole haan -- walking shoe w/ nike soles, very traditional shoe sitting on a high tech black slim platform{subtle, not outre} gorgeous.

the other allen edmunds , very very traditional lace up brown leather shoe -- tres chic, tres cher.

oh my god -- now i have shoe envy from him!

i'm too nice.

I fell in love with a transvestite Tim Curry. It may explain why I'm slightly warped now. :D We went several more times to the midnight showings. We even had the LP. We'd put it on and dance around the living room to The Time Warp.

The first time I went, the throwing stuff almost scared me. The next 20+ times, I was used to it and later brought my own stuff. I have to admit, I wasn't the diehard participating audience member. I just love the film, the mindset of the participants and the spectacle. Good stuff! :hi:
