Today I applied to college
I don't know how the hell I'm going to do it with 2 kids and a full-time job but I've got to do something to improve my earning potential. As broke as I am, I damned well better qualify for some financial aid.

4. Good for you!

You will get financial aid, but also contact the financial aid office at the college. They can usually recommend scholarships to apply for at the college.

Cheers and Good Luck

5. I applied to college too!
Last Wednesday! I've got three kids and haven't been in a classroom setting in over 13 years. :scared:

Good on ya!

6. You can do it. I just graduated myself this last December. You just have to want it, stay focused,

and just keep reminding yourself how much you'll gain from an education. Also, think about the powerful example you are setting for your children.

Almost forgot, use half.com for textbooks!

7. Good for you
Just budget your time wisely and it can be done. I did the same thing when my kids were young and I worried a lot about the time they were missing with me and the fact that I was always working and going to school and doing homework. When they were older, they told me how much they had come to appreciate how hard I worked and all three of them have been very focused on education and work ethics. It's a good example to set. :applause:
