that is soooo neat. Family is always important. :hug:

I adopted Simon when I was with AirmensMom in TN. Since I couldn't take him with me back to Germany AirmensMom was so nice to let him live with her.

11. AirmensMom sends me pictures of Simon regulary
that way I know how much he grows and how happy he is with his family (feline and human)






That construction is going on till August. They are re-doing the roof and paint the house new. Also they are hammering off the finery and re-doing that as well.

16. No such luck about Brendan's eyes
When I was pregnant, I was hoping he'd get my eyes, but he inherited his grandmother's big blue eyes instead. Oh well. Maybe when I have a girl, she'll get my eyes. :hi: :loveya:

27. Yeah, in many ways I did.
She took a wrong turn in high school, and one day, her stepmom called and said she needed to send my daughter to Seattle to be with me and MrSG. I said of course, and when. She said, tomorrow. Okay!

So, up she came, middle of her junior year in high school. Scrambled around, got her into a good school, had to plant our boots in her behind more than once, but she graduated. Now, she is in college, newly married, and really one of the best people I have ever known. If I had anything to do with that, then I have served my purpose in this life.

34. Okay, this is a pic of me BUT
my parents got such a kick out of it, they always had a good time relating this story. We were at my aunt's house & the adults were in the living room when they realized I was being very VERY quiet. Those of you with small kids know what that means. :evilgrin: So, they find me in the kitchen, where I've broken into the sink cabinet, separated out all the household chemicals, & nabbed the cookie jar.
