Bruce Lee is THE MAN
I've seen most (if not all) his movies, and I've read a lot of his writings. I'm prompted to post this as "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story" is playing on cable now.

And pound for pound, the best fighter and strongest athlete I've ever seen.

1. Pound for pound,
the best fighter ever was Jeanne-Marie, my bouncer at a bar I managed back in the 80s. She was 5' of hell.

2. No way. It was Mary from Mary's Doghouse near Canton IL.
I once saw her hit a guy on the noggin with a heavy rubber mallet, who was sitting at the bar and giving her a bunch of crap. He went out like a light (boom boom?) and laid on the floor for about 5 minutes. After he got back up he apologized to Mary and promised to never talk back to her again.

OK....maybe that wasn't "martial arts", but she was a tough old broad who didn't take any shit from anyone.

During the daylight hours, she ran a dog-grooming business.

you'd put money on Jeanne-Marie v Bruce Lee? He was 5' 6" or so.

I like that she was a tough one. I love empowered women.

I love his movies and have read a few books by him and by Dan Inosanto (one of his students), and enjoy his thoughts on life and martial arts completely.

That is a great movie too.
