1. If both Tivos are on the same wireless network, you can do this.
Both Tivos need to be Series 2 in order for them to be networked. Run the Tivo Desktop server on a computer with a wireless network. Set up the other Tivo somewhere in the house and link it to the same network. See these FAQs for full details on setting up a home network: http://customersupport.tivo.com/BrowseArticles.aspx?CategoryID=130#cat129 and http://customersupport.tivo.com/BrowseArticles.aspx?CategoryID=131#cat129. Then, from the Now Playing list, you can view programs on all networked Tivos and then transfer programs back and forth between the Tivos. It can be time consuming, as only one program can transfer at a time, and transfers take a quite a while sometimes. I set mine up to transfer during the night so that they're ready to go for the next day.

3. It is very cool. Wireless networking is the way to go with your Tivo.
If it has the capabilities, of course. Once networked, you can do fun things like listen to music from your computer over your TV, view photos from your computer on your TV, watch programs downloaded to your computer on your TV, transfer your Tivo programs to your computer and then burn them onto a DVD, schedule recordings online and so much more. You do all of this through Tivo Desktop, which is a free download (you can pay a little more for a premium download that allows you to convert your programs to a file type acceptable for iPods, Treos, etc.).

If you have any questions that aren't answered on the site, PM me.

4. Same Question, but with DVR
My box has a USB port, so I assume it's there for a reason.

5. A USB port could very well be for a wireless network adapter
Check the website or documentation for your brand of DVR to see if wireless networking is available.
