I can understand the expression "Go * yourself" - what I don't understand is the
part about the horse? A Hummer would make more sense to me.

3. and the horse you rode in on?
I'm guessing, and I say this as a chick who has no idea what is about to spew forth from her fingers, that it derives from the idea of a holier than thou, knight on a white horse, uppity, all knowing, snobby "I know what I am talking about, I am better than you, peon" type person, who probably just insulted you, your mother, and your great-great-great-great-great Aunt (on your father's side), and all your future children.

So you say, in a lame reply, "Oh yeah? Well f* you and the horse you rode in on!"

...or something

7. Meatballs 2
I saw this in the movie Meatballs 2. The "bad guy" arrives on his horse and gets the middle finger twice. Once the conventional way and once with the hand parallel to the ground. The bad guy says "I know what this is" (demonstrating the conventional way), "but what's this"? (demonstrating parallel to the ground). That's when the first person says "this is for you" (demonstrating the conventional way), "and this is for the horse you rode in on" (demonstrating the parallel way).

That's the only time I've run across this; there could be other instances out there.

8. Anyone remember George Carlin's dissertation on this?
"F-ck you and everyone who looks like you!"

Guess that the F-Yor is assuming that they've got more rage or F-Yness or whatever than the F-Yee is able to take on so they have to spread it around a bit...
:wtf:
It's time to quit and go nite-nite...:bored:
