This Guy Nikolay Valuev is Insane!

Obviously I haven't watched boxing in a few years. He is the reigning WBA heavyweight champion. Seven feet tall, 320 lbs (also listed at 345 lb). Record of 46-1 with 34 knockouts.

I thought these images had to be photoshopped. But apparently he is the real thing.

He lost his last fight, which explains the one loss on his record. He lost to Ruslan Chagaev in April.

edit: I'd love to see him fight Vitali Klitschko (even though I know it would be a bloodbath) just to see the tallest fight ever.

10. I Had a Hard Time Telling from the Clips on You Tube

He didn't seem particularly slow (which I tend to expect for some of that size). He did leave himself open on certain punches. A lot of his punches looked strange, but one reason seemed to be that he was always punching down rather than across.

11. I agree, he's not particularly slow.

He's just not particularly fast either. And, for a very tall boxer his defense isn't bad, it's just not particularly good either. All around he's not a bad boxer, but if he were of normal proportions he'd never make it to title fights.

His reach is what makes him. It makes it very hard for anyone to get in range of him and get inside. Once they do get inside his height makes it easy to rain punches from above. If he were to fight someone close to his height (like Klitschko) he would have a very hard time.
