your fiance's divorce decree, congratulations! CMW and I went through the same thing right before we got married, and I had to have my divorce degree sent from the US. That was a long and tense wait. :yoiks:
I never kept the decree. I'm not even sure I had ever gotten it. Plus, it was 20 years before the fact. Fortunately, courts will send out duplicate documents. Load off your mind, isn't it?
4. I had to get a certified copy of my divorce decree from the state
where it was filed in the US. Fortunately, the Clerk of the District Court was someone I've known for a long time, she was kind enough to expedite the papers so that CMW and I could get married. :)
