You know, if something is deemed "inappropriate" .....
it only piques my interest even more.

Like on Youtube, when a video is tagged as "inappropriate" for some viewers. Well that pretty much means I'll be watching it. :)

I think all the moralists out there who label something "bad" only create the opposite effect of the one they intended. Yet they never learn. :silly:

3. Yes, that's true!
It's like a calling card, "watch me, watch me, I dare you to watch me."

5. Human nature
"Wow, I wonder what's so inappropriate about it. I'll have to check it out."

My best friend and I have a handy catchphrase for any and all instances when we're told not to do something or that something is bad or inappropriate or whatever.

"Don't go in that room."

Who can hear that without immediately wanting nothing more than to go in? :P

6. That sort of thing led me to DU, believe it or not
I didn't even know there was a liberal voice (or voices) out there - outside of a few op-ed columnists in the NY Times and my local paper running Molly Ivins every once in a while.

However, when Bill O'Reilly started his lawsuit against Al Franken for "Lying Liars" I was moved to get the book.

I loved the book and figured there had to be some place online where I could find people that agreed with me on political issues.

I first found a site called O'Reilly Sucks, and that eventually led me to DU on October of 2003.
