Lame request for some good lounge vibes

Hey folks...hows everyone doing out there?

I have a request for some good lounge mojo, its kinda stupid, but its been upsetting to me...

Last Saturday night I was robbed at gunpoint. The thief wanted my wallet, but i got him to only take my money. He also took my cell phone though, and thats where the vibes come in. He didn't keep my cell phone cause some one with a thick accent and broken English found it (the guy who robbed me didn't have an accent). I spoke with this guy on Sunday and gave him my address. He promised he'd mail it on Monday. Its Saturday and I still haven't gotten it. Sometimes the USPS takes a while, even in NYC. So please, if you can spare some vibes, send some my way that my phone will arrive on Monday. sigh.

We also used my roommates name for who to send it too, so he doesn't know mine. thanks for the advice though

Glad you're okay. Did you offer the guy who found your phone a reward? Because that's probably the only way you'll get it back. Otherwise you're probably going to have to see if your phone company will cough up a new one for you or if you can get something decent on ebay.

I tried to offer the guy money to meet him that day or the next, but all he would say was "Address, Address, I mail you, Address." I hope he got the address right though!

Its less about the phone and just the loss of all my numbers and the being violated feeling.

That's a truly frightening thing to have happen, but the important thing is that you are safe. I have a friend who was robbed at knife-point last summer while he was taking cash out of an ATM. They forced him to take out his daily maximum ($1,000.00) and got his celfone as well. He was very shaken for many days after.

One question though.......Did you cancel the celfone service?
