6. Well, I'd like to but you're probably not my type...

Trek is okay series, sometimes great. In all incarnations... Well, if there was an "Enterprise" episode that was good that wasn't the pilot, I must've missed it. :-(

kind of a turn-on. I was watching the blue guy drinking the blue ale and his antenna's were wiggling....cute and erotic ...

7. I've watched Star Trek since I was a child....

I've been a die hard Trekker all my life. So it pains me to say Rick Berman has killed the soul of Star Trek. And I imagine the war on DS9 had Gene Roddenberry spinning in his grave.

Remember when Star Trek was about progressive ideals, equality and pushing boundries?

Is Enterprise getting better? I lost interest when they made it clear they were going to stretch the Xindi thing out as long as possible.

9. I wouldnt say that is entirely true... DS9 took a more realistic look...
at the human condition. It is essential to mention human weaknessess and faults along with the progressive. Ds9 made star trek seem more 'real'

As far as Enterprise... Xindi till at least end of season 3. The writers are trying, but some of the acting is a bit low grade.

(Ive been a trekker for at least 10 years).

10. I stopped watching after Voyager...
...which I loved. I'm a bigger fan of Voyager than of DS9 or (gasp) TNG. I've always disliked TNG because I just hate that gang of characters (yes, even Picard). In my opinion (which I realize is very much the minority opinion) VOY is closer to the original show than any of the other new ones. In Voyager they are WAY OUT THERE, and I love that vibe; the 23rd century (60s show) had that vibe too.

16. i liked the whole foreign element of DS9...
Edited on Wed Jan-21-04 10:27 PM by LastKnight
the whole thing kinda revolved around Cardassian and Bajoran ships/structures ect... kinda reminded me of the gothic architecture influences similar to that of the real world, tall spires, majestic looking structures, at the same time mysterious in a good way... anyone else? i donno, i liked the stranded element of voyager but how much can you really do with one ship, at least in the other series they could meet up with other fed ships.

and by the way, Hoshi gets my vote over T'Pol too... lol
