Apparently a Hindu cleric (whatever the proper term is) is giving the invocation in Congress one day. I guess these loons feel the need to cancel out that prayer with an extra-special one of their own.

Weather the cause of this so called "weather change" is us, or a natural cycle of our planet, whats wrong with trying to deal with the effects?

I think there are other things that desreve more of our attention right now brother.

You are 100% correct. It's amazing the number of Christians who believe all of the global warming hype.

I feel that everyone should do their share of recycling and conserving. But this whole global warming issue is completely bonkers.

The biggest supporters are the elite and Hollywood, who are the biggest abusers of energy consumption. If this isn't hypocrisy, then tell me what is.

Anything and everything that Hollywood is for, I have to question. They are not my leader and they do not speak for me. I shun Hollywood as much as possible. The only global warming they should be worried about is:

1) a dirty bomb going off in Los Angeles
2) spending eternity in Hell if they do not accept Christ as they savior.

They have to have their way, everyone else be damned. Meanwhile we all have to suffer the consequences of them being assholes.

if they are right and it is all a god's doing, then efforts to turn it around won't work so there's nothing to stop them from actually changing off their lightbulbs, taking public transportation, walking, doing their best to offset their carbon usage.

In fact, it would be a point in their favor if they were doing all these things, encouraging people to do all these things, reducing the carbon load and the rate of warming STILL continued at its present rate.

But their faith is so shaky that they don't dare put their money (so to speak) where their mouths are.

And if it happens, it will be extremely interesting to see if it happens to a "red" or "blue" city.
